This took an entire day to. Why? because of a glorious term coined, "Point Perspective" That alone took many hours to get just right. It doesn't seem like it would be hard, being only one-point perspective, but when it's traditional media...even more difficult when you have frames, and faces, and hard wood floors and parallel properties....anyway this is now one of my favorites. Difficult. But worth it.

Hey, just for fun whoever can comment and tell me where the hidden penis is, gets 15 points!

[UPDATE] Congratulations to :iconpurplebioniccrayon: for locating the said member!

[2nd UPDATE, 10/21/14] So I decided to revisit this piece and give it a little touch up.  I cleaned up the line work, blended the shading so it blurs a little more naturally and I tweaked the monochrome to give a more eerie haze to it.  I thought I would do this to some of my older works so they better represent my evolving style.

This piece BLEEDS skill. The perspective is very well done, especially with how difficult it is to pull off. The faces add an eerie atmosphere which connects well with the light shading, which is also pulled off very well. With how difficult it is to draw an amazing picture like this with a one-point perspective, this is a very talented piece.

Now, even with how awesome this piece is, there are a few issues I have with. For starters, the details inside the frames with the faces are confusing, and I feel like they're drawing my eyes away from the main focus of the picture. Also, this piece is very mysterious; they're isn't anything present in the picture to really explain anything, though their is plenty left to speculation. These are more nit-picks than actual problems with the art, and only hold it back in my eyes. I'm sure others would find these details an improvement on the experience the piece gives.

Overall, I'd say this is a great conundrum for the eyes. I don't know what's going on here, but I want to know, even if the answer might not be a happy one. A piece that can be eerie without being outright scary is very nice to see, and fits in quite well with some of your other stand-out pieces.
